Welcoming Jesse Shaw Back to IBAC
There are many moments that remind us exactly why we do what we do, especially through direct customer feeback.
But this is one of the more unique ones.
We’re incredibly pumped to announce that Jesse Shaw is rejoining the IBAC team in a management role this May, supporting scheduling, coordinating our trades team, and working closely with Wade who leads our team smoothly on the ground.
But what makes this moment truly special?
Jesse didn’t just join IBAC.
He started here.
From Apprentice to Leadership
Jesse began his journey with us back in March 2014, joining IBAC as a 16-year-old apprentice.
Over the years, he grew not just in skill, but in character, becoming a qualified plumber in 2018, a respected and valued member of our team before heading to Perth in 2021 to further expand his experience.
Like many young tradies, he stepped out to see more, learn more, and build his career.
And now…
He’s come home, but with a little more than what he left with!

Jesse is a proud local, born and raised in Kununurra, with strong family ties to the region.
His return to IBAC isn’t just about filling a role, it’s about strengthening something we’ve always believed in:
👉 Backing our people👉 Building long-term careers👉 Creating a team that feels like family
There’s something incredibly powerful about seeing someone start as an apprentice and return years later to take on a leadership role.
It speaks to the kind of environment we’ve worked hard to create and one where people want to come back.
Strengthening the Team for the Future
As IBAC Plumbing and Trade Services continues to evolve, our focus remains clear:
👉 Supporting our trades team👉 Delivering consistent, reliable service👉 Ensuring our customers continue to receive the level of care and professionalism we’re known for.
Bringing Jesse into this role allows us to strengthen our operations, provide greater support on the ground, and continue delivering for our clients without compromise.
IBAC has always been built on strong local foundations and always will.
While our roles within the business continue to evolve, our connection to the community, our team, and our customers remains unchanged.
Welcome Back, Jesse
We couldn’t be prouder to have you back.
