Truck Driver (General) – Kununurra WA

Full-time

IBAC Plumbing & Trade Services is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid Truck Driver to join our team in Kununurra, servicing projects throughout the Kimberley.

This is a varied driving role involving the transport of plant, equipment, materials, spoil and liquid waste between our depot, suppliers, project sites, remote communities and approved disposal facilities.

The role includes:

• Operating HR vehicles including tipper, pump and liquid-waste trucks

• Transporting excavators, plant, equipment and materials

• Towing plant trailers and safely securing loads

• Completing septic, toilet and grease-trap pump-outs

• Transporting spoil and excavated materials

• Driving to remote sites and communities throughout the Kimberley

• Completing vehicle pre-starts, transport and disposal records

• Keeping vehicles and equipment clean, safe and serviceable

• Working closely with our Operations team to coordinate daily movements

What we're looking for:

• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence

• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience

• Good understanding of load restraint, road safety and fatigue management

• Ability to work safely and independently in remote locations

• Construction White Card where required

• Reliable, practical and comfortable working in Kimberley conditions

Experience with tipper, vacuum, pump or liquid-waste trucks, towing excavators/mobile plant, or working within civil, plumbing, wastewater or remote-community environments will be highly regarded.

Location: Kununurra, WA, with travel to remote communities and project sites throughout the Kimberley.
